Advisory Board
Why you are motivated to be involved and support the organisation’s mission and objectives?
We, in the UK are blessed to live in a country which provides free education and healthcare without judgement. However, the situation care-experienced people find themselves in is once they age out of care is one of the tragedies of our time. Career Matters provides a bright light in a dark place, supporting young people to make the best of themselves and I am thrilled to support Career Matters as an Advisory Board member.
Role at Career Matters
As an Advisory Board Member, I am a critical friend to Career Matters, helping to support its spread and scale in a meaningful way.
Headline experience
I am an NHS Manager with experience working in a variety of NHS organisations including acute, community and mental health providers. I go to work to be a part of supporting people to live better lives and have better deaths. I am also one of the organisers of TEDxNHS, an organisation which harnesses 'storytelling for change' in order to improve the health of the nation.
